In reply to your letter No. 379/29/130 of

the 2nd. instant, I am directed to inform you that this Govern-

-ment is unable to credit the War Department in the Colonial Military Landa Account with any portion of the Crown Rent which

will be re-imposed on Inland Lot No. 427 ceasing to be the

property of the War Department.

In this connection I am to draw your attan-

-tion to the 2nd. paragraph of H. Sercomha Smith's Confidential

letter of the 2nd. of January, 1908.
